Friends at Brightwater Center World Water Monitoring Day!

The Friends staff will be presenting a fun, hands on, exploratory exhibit Sat March 26th from 10 - 1pm at Brightwater Center in honor of World Water Monitoring Days!  Come down and enjoy a dozen explorations of the different properties of water with fun, exciting, hands on labs with us.  You'll be learning about the properties of water scientists and engineers use to help plants grow better, to make energy from water and to deliver clean, healthy sustainable water to our communities.   In addition, knowledge of these properties allow us to treat our wastewater so we can keep a healthy, sustainable environment.

Come on down to enjoy the event at Brightwater Center, visit all the exhibits and learn more about our GTS STEM Environmental Challenge Summer Camp being held this year from June 27th to July 1st at Brightwater Center.

World Water Days is an international event to promote and highlight the need for clean, sustainable water for all people and for our environment.  We are proud to be part of the worldwide effort and thank King County for hosting this event!
